In 2017, three (former) professional athletes, Brent Luyckx, Axel Roelants, and Mathieu van der Poel, came together with a shared mission: to redefine sports supplementation.

Brent, once a promising cyclist, saw his career cut short due to Crohn’s disease. Struggling to find supplements that supported both his performance and gut health, he realized the industry lacked real solutions for athletes with specific needs. Axel, with his background in motocross, experienced firsthand how nutrition impacts endurance, recovery, and injury prevention. Mathieu, a multi-discipline cycling phenomenon, understood the critical role of high-quality supplements in elite performance.

Together, they founded 4GOLD, a brand created by athletes, for athletes, built on science, innovation, and a relentless drive for excellence.
