BIOGRAPHY

Justine Vanhaevermaet, born on April 29, 1992, in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Everton in the FA Women's Super League and the Belgium national team. She began her career with WB Sinaai Girls, winning the Belgian Women's Cup three consecutive times. She later played for Anderlecht and Lierse, securing additional cup victories. In 2013, she became a regular member of the Belgian national team.

Vanhaevermaet's international career includes captaining the Belgium U19 team at the 2011 European Championship, where she scored during the tournament. She has also scored in the UEFA Women's Champions League and for the Red Flames. In 2021, she joined Reading in the FA Women's Super League, making 39 league appearances and scoring six goals over two seasons. In July 2023, she transferred to Everton, where she continues to contribute her experience and skills.

Throughout her career, Vanhaevermaet has demonstrated leadership and consistency, both at the club and international levels. Her journey reflects her dedication to the sport and her significant role in advancing women's football in Belgium.
